The Kernow King is bringing his latest production to St Keverne.

Comedian, Ed Rowe, will be starring in Trevithick!, the biographical comedy based on the true story of Richard Trevithick that will light a fire in your bellies and set your brain whirring like a four way valve on a steam engine.

Born in Tregajorran, Trevithick revolutionised the use of steam as a successful and profitable means of energy and his passion and genius led to steam power being put on rails and roads, powering the first trains and cars.

The Kernow King's production, which is bursting with music, comedy and facts, brings to the stage the story of a man who was so dedicated and obsessed by engineering that he left his family in Cornwall whilst he mined in South America for eleven years.

Directed by Kneehigh's associate director, Simon Harvey, the show stars Mary Woodvine alongside Kernow King.

Trevithick! will be at St Keverne Parish Hall on Friday, May 20 at 7.30pm.

Tickets cost £9 for adults, £6 for under 16s, and are available from St Keverne newsagents, online at www.crbo.co.uk, or on the door.
