A veteran Edinburgh Fringe performer is planning to cycle from Land's End to John o'Groats with a piano on his back, performing concerts along the way.
Celebrating his sixtieth birthday, Mike Hatchard will be carrying a "fairy hefty" electric piano as he cycles across the country on his performing tour. The virtuoso musician and raconteur will start cycling along the South Coast, with a gig confirmed in Falmouth, before heading North to perform his Edinburgh Festival Show titled Beetroot Juice - How I went from being a street performer to concert musician - and back again.
One of Mike's scheduled stops on his journey will be at The Poly in Falmouth on Thursday, June 30 at 7.30pm.
Tickets cost £10 for adults, £8 for concessions, and are available from The Poly box office on 01326 319461, or online at www.thepoly.org.
