Oddsocks Productions have converted one of Shakespeare's most popular tragedies into a comedy, to be performed at Carnmarth Amphitheatre on Friday.

With 26 years experience of taking classic texts and creating bold, challenging, innovative and interactive theatre to be enjoyed by everyone, the production company have taken an exciting look at Macbeth, converting the tragedy of greed, witchcraft, murder and mayhem into a play guaranteed to provide plenty of laughter.

Shakespeare’s story of ambition turned bad is brought hilariously to life alongside a soundtrack of classic songs while audience members are requested to forget what they already know about Macbeth and expect the unexpected in an evening filled with energy and silliness.

Oddsocks Productions' version of Macbeth will be at Carnmarth Amphitheatre on Friday, August 26 at 7.30pm.
