An award-winning puppetry and visual theatre company is coming to The Poly with their new show, In Our Hands.

Theatre company, Smoking Apples' latest production follows a fish's journey from sea to plate looking at how trawler fisherman, Alf journeys from the depths of despair to rise again and rescue the life he loves following the impact of the change of the fishing industry.

Smoking Apples has developed In Our Hands extensively both in London and Cornwall using innovative puppetry, a striking set and an original score.

It will transport the audience out to sea, under the ocean and onto the deck of the Catcher's Fortune to watch a seagull's ridiculous attempt to find food and to witness a father and son reunite.

In Our Hands by Smoking Apples will be at The Poly on Friday, October 21 at 7.30pm.
