Award-winning comedian and broadcaster, Marcus Brigstocke is coming to Falmouth next week with his new show, Why the long face?
Marcus, who won the BBC New Comedian Award at the Edinburgh Festival in 1996, has since appeared on various UK television shows, including Argumental (Dave), I’ve Never Seen Star Wars (BBC4), Have I Got News For You (BBC1), QI (BBC2), The Jump (Channel 4), Sorry I’ve Got No Head (BBC1) and The Late Edition (BBC4).
BBC Radio 4 has also become like a second home to the comedian, who regularly features on I’m Sorry I Haven’t A Clue, The Now Show and Just A Minute, as well as his own recent award-winning radio series, The Brig Society.
Marcus has also written and recorded three series and four specials of his hit Radio 4 sitcom show, Giles Wemmbley-Hogg Goes Off.
His latest touring show, Why the long face, is about gratitude and happiness, with a tiny bit of wild-eyed, incredulous, livid ranting.
Marcus will be performing this at the Princess Pavilion on Thursday, November 10 at 8pm.
Tickets cost £16 and are available from the box office on 01326 211222, or online at princesspavilion.co.uk.
The advised age rating for this performance is over 16 due to the show containing nudity.
