A show with an exciting new take on a collection of classic fairy tales is touring Cornwall next month, with a stop at The Poly.

Tales of Ice and Snow promises an enchanting, magical evening of storytelling, projections, puppetry, live music and audience participation.

Producer, Jasmine Cole, said: “This is a completely new Christmas show and a really exciting project for everyone involved. We

are bringing something different to venues across Cornwall. Expect light-saber duels, snow storms and mild peril in this fantastical evening of delight.”

Audience members are encouraged to come to the show dressed as their favourite fairytale character for a chance of winning a prize in the interval fancy dress competition.

Funded by Arts Council England and Feast Cornwall, this theatrical extravaganza by Jasmine Cole Productions, The Poly and Four2Three brings new life to the much loved stories of ‘The Winter Rose’ (Beauty & The Beast) and ‘The Snow Queen’. It is also presenting an original tale of ‘Jack Frost: The Winter King’ for the first time.

Tales of Ice and Snow will be at The Poly, Falmouth on Thursday, December 8 and Saturday, December 10 at 2pm and 7.30pm on each day. The matinee performance on the Thursday is a toddler friendly show.

The production will then tour Cornwall - more information is available online at talesicesnow.wixsite.com.
