With Christmas fast approaching, that means that panto time is also on its way so members of Redruth Amateur Musical and Pantomime Society (RAMPS) have been busy rehearsing for their production of family favourite, Aladdin.

Although the group is based in Redruth, its popularity extends much further than the one town with people making the trip from across the county to catch its shows. Panto at The Regal has been a tradition for many families for decades and RAMPS believe its production will be the largest amateur pantomime in Cornwall.

Will Aladdin find the lamp and escape from the Cave of Wonders? Will the evil Abanazar marry the beautiful Princess Jasmine or will Widow Twankee, Wishee Washee and the Chinese Police come to her rescue?

Find out when RAMPS stages Aladdin at the Regal Theatre, Redruth from January 11 to 15 when there will be matinees and evening performances. Tickets available at regaltheatre-redruth.co.uk or by calling 01209 216278.
