A star-studded cast will be performing in Ruth Rendell's A Judgement In Stone at Hall For Cornwall early next month.

Bill Kenwright's Classic Thriller Theatre Company includes former Coronation Street star, Andrew Lancel; Blue star, Antony Costa, along with movie icon, Shirley Anne Field; former Heartbeat actress, Sophie Ward; Deborah Grant, best known from Bergerac and Not Going Out; pop idol, Mark Wynter and former Soldier Soldier star, Ben Nealon. The production, which will run in Truro from March 6 to 11, is directed by Roy Marsden, best known as an actor, particularly in his role as Commander Adam Dalgliesh in the PD James series.

Ruth Rendell was first published in 1964 and was awarded a CBE in 1996. Widely considered to be one of her greatest works, A Judgement in Stone is loved for its brilliant rendering of character, plot and motive, and is undoubtedly Rendell at her thrilling best.
