A new play called Infinity Pool is due to wow audiences in Cornwall, as the highly rated stage production comes to The Tolmen Centre in Constantine.

The show has been showcased in The Guardian's five Top Theatre Picks nationally, and has received copious amounts of praise from professional critics.

Described as "rare and extraordinary" by The List and "a right little Cracker by The Telegraph, the play is the brain child of multi-award winning writer Bea Roberts.

Bea, writer of And Then Come the Nightjars, will also be performing in the show, which opens on March 5 at 7.30pm.

Described as a 'tender and truthful comedy like no other', the performance uses projectors, party rings and Power Point.

The Guardian described the show as "completely different and deliciously quirky… this original show proved painfully funny and oddly moving."

and The Stage wrote: "Utterly unique and exceptional in every way, it’s a heart-breaking story of a stunted life, told with theatrical verve and palpable compassion."

Infinity Pool comes to Cornwall straight from The Drum in Plymouth, and tickets are now on sale for £10 online at tolmencentre.co.uk, or by phoning 01326 341353.
