The Regal Theatre in Redruth is offering three comedians for the price of one later this month when Dave Johns will be taking centre stage, but will be joined on the bill by guests Jenny Collier and Dan Evans.

Dave Johns is described as one of the most respected and best-loved stand up comics working today.

He has appeared at comedy clubs, theatres and festivals around the world, and as guest on some of the nation's best loved comedy panel shows including 8 Out Of 10 Cats, Never Mind The Buzzcocks and As Yet Untitled, hosted by Alan Davies.

Dave is also a multi award winning film actor, staring in what critics have described as one of the most important, hard hitting and devastatingly moving films of 2016 Ken Loach's I Daniel Blake, which won the coveted Palme D'or award at the Cannes Film Festival in 2016 plus picking up numinous film awards world wide.

His appearance in Redruth is a chance to catch Dave live first before his eagerly awaited Edinburgh Festival appearance later this summer.

Joining Dave will be two exciting comedians, on their first visit to Cornwall. Jenny Collier is the winner of the Leicester Comedy Festival New Act Award and a regular on BBC Radio Wales. She has written for The News Quiz on BBC Radio 4, as well as the Huffington Post and The Independent and has recently supported Arthur Smith and appeared on Jack Dee’s Helpdesk UK Tour.

Dan Evans, one of the unsung heroes of the comedy circuit for the last 15 years, will bring his "original, surreal and inventive comedy." Dan is the master of silly gags and one-liners and has also penned two novels as well as writing for Rory Bremner's Who Else and The Joan Rivers Position.
