Comedy Jam at Toast is holding a series of previews of full hour-long shows by some up and coming comedians ahead of the Edinburgh Festival, including Matt Price from Truro.

The first event featured Jon Pearson from Melton Mowbray, and next on the lineup is Sally-Anne Hayward performing on June the 18.

Truro local Matt Price will be previewing his Edinburgh show on June 25. He is known for his comedic story telling that draws on his life experiences, and for having the best heckler put-downs at Toast.

Next up will be Chelsea Hart on Monday July 2 who has been working as a professional street entertainer for over three years, and Chris Chopping will appear on Monday July 9.

On Monday July 16, Lulu Popplewell will be presenting her show An Awful Time about her ADHD and teenage self, and she will be joined by Philip Cooper, who returns to Edinburgh with a Welsh language TV comedy show under his belt.

That same week on Wednesday July 18 will see Yianni Agisilaou perform his latest show, and finally Lou Conran will be performing on Monday July 23.

Seats can be reserved for £5, otherwise entry is free and a donation will be taken at the end.
