Have Cornwall planners seen sense at last? I was delighted to read a report in the local press, on Thursday 8, which informed readers that a 50metre high wind turbine has been refused planning permission on a site in the open countryside, in the parish of St Allen, in the middle of our glorious county.
I know that I am not alone when I say that this is excellent news and I hope that it will be the first of ALL refusals for more of these hideous constructions, along with solar farms, which are blighting the landscape of Cornwall.
To the members of the planning committee I say thank you and to prospective developers ‘take note’.
