UNIVERSITY gets £1.5 million to design computer games and New logo not a waste of money, insists university – Falmouth Packet, August 21 – but I’m sorry, I beg to differ.

Seemingly this £1.5 million and £115,000 grows on some mythical trees (Eden Project?) and if you doubt this, the truth is more likely to be gleaned from mugs (oops, sorry) taxpayers within the EU club.

Surely these gifts from ERDF are misplaced in as much as I contend it is rather up to the actual manufacturers of computer games to scout for talent in this university and then offer proper jobs to those students they deem worthy of employment with their respective companies, but then I’m just old fashioned in my outlook!
