This picture was taken from the quay outside the Falmouth Water Sports, of the passage way into Pendennis Marina.
This shows the need for regular dredging when pleasure and leisure boats get stranded.
Over the past winter months we have seen of some of the worst rain and storms in Falmouth for many years, and the amount of water that has come down the rivers and the swells from the sea bringing mud into the harbour floor.
From some of the old photos of Falmouth Dock there was always a dredger working in the harbour/docks, perhaps they knew better back then.
