We all were greatly shocked when on the afternoon of Tuesday, July 22 we heard that the youngest member of our family was injured whilst riding his bicycle home from school.
His helmet took most of the force and was destroyed; he suffered minor wounds to his head and back.
We would like to thank Tim the driver of the car following who stopped and gave assistance to him and also to the couple from a nearby cottage who also offered help and sustenance.
Without the help of these good people we dread to think what might have happened. We all are very grateful. Thank you.
To the woman driver of the white van who did not stop but continued her journey after hitting the bicycle that he was riding: Tell the police what you did. If you do not, next time you may kill someone?
