“BIG boost for business”, Falmouth Packet September 30 – every week! If we had a sea ferry service operating out of Falmouth to mainland Europe, our fellow club member countries in the EU.
It amazes me that still that Cornwall Council, who supposedly represent us, the entire county of Cornwall, are obviously as blind as bats in failing to see the rich rewards that would ensue from such a public transport service; a service as important as road, rail and air and long since provided by all other UK South Coast counties and to their commercial advantages.
Indeed, I’ll wager that even back in the good old days of sail, a Packet service sailed out of Falmouth to Europe on a regular basis.
