It is with dismay that I read about the proposed development at Swanpool in your paper today.

I was first introduced to Falmouth and Swanpool at the age of eighteen months by my late parents actually staying at Swanpool where we did many years afterwards; this has continued with my family.

To allow the building of houses on this site must not even be thought about. The view as you come down the hill is wonderful and must be preserved for locals and tourists alike.

It is views like this that bring people back year after year.  The proposed entrance is waiting for an accident to happen, think how fast traffic already is on this road.

While writing how on earth was so much fencing and gates allowed round the house towards Stack Point?

The resident has a wonderful position as it is without removing views from walkers heading for Stack Point with all his fences and gates.
