As one of the many users of Falmouth Haven’s facilities, I read with interest the comments made by Captain Sansom on the In Port page.
I am sure that the majority of boat owners are wondering how much the mooring fees are going to increase due to the ‘in house’ separation between leisure and commercial.
But I was pleased to read that one of the new services being offered is a dedicated tender pontoon for tenders up to three metres in length. Great, I thought, about time.
But then I went on to read that the users could also use the visitors’ facilities. Ha, there’s got to be a catch – and here it comes. Three hundred pounds a year to park your tender.
But would it be used to its maximum between October and March?
