I think David Barnicoat and all the supporters of dredging Falmouth harbour should read the environmental report on Falmouth harbour Jamaica.

Perhaps the idea of big cruise ships pumping out sulphur dioxide equivalent to 2,000 cars an hour is OK, but we already know what the impact in Florida and Hong Kong is, causing up to 30,000 lung related deaths per year.

Plus what it has done to the coral and fishing stocks and the ships releasing dirty ballast water? Basically it has killed the marine life and the bird life which will never recover.
