What a magnificent sight it was on Saturday to see thousands of people walking Andy’s beat for one last time. I am sure Andy was as proud of us as we are of him. I have never experienced such an outpouring of grief as Falmouth had last week – what a wonderful tribute this was.
The feeling of togetherness was a legacy left by Andy – may it continue for a long time. I sincerely hope that this visual sign of the love that was felt for Andy will help to sustain Sally, Megan Gracie and Elizabeth over the coming months.
Thanks must go to the person(s) who thought of the idea of the walk and the hard work in getting all the photographs in all the shops – a wonderful tribute.
Thanks Andy – may you rest in peace.
