FP front page story (23/9) "Widow left horrified after vandalism' which begs the obvious question: "Is nothing scared?" the answer of course being "No".
That said the lady in question should take comfort in the fact that this act of vandalism/desecration was in no way personal one apropos of her late husband but rather these mindless imbeciles who now roam freely amongst us without fear of apprehension by the police or any others who might be around at the time.
Parents, school teachers - and the church alike, have all failed - not for want of trying I trust - to instil in youngsters of all ages, the qualities of respect vis-a-vis law and order, basic good manners and common courtesy etc and hence we, the entire community, are all continuing to pay the price.
