Dredge now for call for port and at 84 and an avid FP reader, I think I'm right I've seen this request for at least as many years as that within the FP pages.
I have been calling as well for a ferry service in and out of Falmouth. That said this latest headline, triggered in my poor old head, a flashing sign: DRECKLY.
This 'curse/syndrome' peculiar to Cornwall, has seemingly affected for many years now, Messrs Barnicoat, Boddy and Sansom and Sarah Newton MP all of whom I've apprised re-my request also 'for and on behalf of' not just for the benefit of Falmouth but the whole of Cornwall.
However, in attempting to attract more cruise ships, it would be a step in the right direction if a proper, purpose built small, modern terminal building was constructed on the quay: But I suppose that might be seen by some as - in Dreckly land, putting the cart before the horse.
