ONCE again G Z Martin has passed an opinion not knowing the full facts.

The councillor did not resign because they did not agree with the vote at that particular meeting, quite the opposite.

At a previous meeting it had been agreed on the the most cost effective way to deal with all the repairs needed to the Guildhall, but one councillor chose to get that democratic decision overturned to suit their own agenda, and this in turn will add to the cost of the repairs bearing in mind it is our money the council spends.

This is neither transparent nor democratic and this where having principles is involved. Perhaps G Z Martin would like to stand for council instead of commenting from the sidelines?
