We have raised over £1,000 for the Precious Lives appeal which, for a village like Four Lanes, in a poor area of Cornwall, is phenomenal.
An envelope appeal to all 571 households raised approximately £700 and the auction/raffle made over £300.
As co-ordinator of this appeal, can I just say it never fails to amaze me the generosity of the local people who support causes relevant to Cornwall.
If anyone wants to supplement my appeal, they can by making cheques out to CHSW Precious Lives appeal and I will add it to the Four Lanes total. I send receipts.
After visiting the complex at Fremington, Devon, I can tell you the hospice for Cornwall is urgently needed as soon as possible.
