IT seems as though Falmouth town council is in an absolute panic because their plans to build on the Rec were defeated.

So they want instead to allow a very large development in an area of outstanding natural beauty. What are they trying to do to Falmouth?

We are in favour of affordable housing for locals; we simply think that there needs to be a well-thought out plan that first looks at existing brown field sites as well as green land on the border with Kerrier (Bickland Water Road).

Choosing a site of outstanding natural beauty and attempting massive overdevelopment on it only lessens the credibility of the town council -- to the detriment of everyone.
