I AM trying to locate my half brother. Unfortunately, I don't have much information to work with, so here goes: His first name is Glen/Glenn/Glenwood (I understand he was known as any of these) and with various spellings. His family name is Green. He was born to my father Percy Green in Redruth, Cornwall. His very approximately age is somewhere between 65 and 75-years-old.

Glen arrived in Ipswich, Suffolk, to meet with his father (my dad) 21 years ago around 1987. My dad was at that time being cared for in a nursing home and quite poorly. Dad was born in 1910 and passed away in 1991.

Glen stayed in the area for a day or two and met with all the family members. I later drove him to a coach station in Ipswich where he would return back home to Redruth. I don't remember too much about this event, but do remember he was the image of dad and only wish he was able to stay in the area a little longer.

I recently went to Redruth and searched the local library, electoral roles and spoke to a few people in local cafes and shops to no avail.

After speaking with my cousin I understand Glen Green was married to Estel (think this is how you spell the name) and they have a daughter together who would be around my age (46). My father was born and bred in Redruth. His sister Dorothy Pope and George Green have now passed on. I am hoping that a member of Dorothy Pope's family or maybe Estel or even Glen himself are still around and should they wish to be put in touch with me and the family we would be delighted to hear from them.
