GROUNDHOG Day! Anyone remember the film where the same thing keeps happening over and over and over again? Well, it's here in our beloved county of Cornwall!
That much loved, adorable quango CPR are at it again (are they ever going to do anything positive?). This time after the first exhibition in the same building four years ago, we get the same old rhetoric, speel and plans about a new development on the campus at Cornwall College with new road layout, etc, heard it all before? You bet! Same crowd, same promises, same result - zilch!
On another issue, why in heaven's name did we allow the Station Hill car park in Redruth to be used for more old people's flats? It's killed the arcade shops and there will be more heartache and despair for the poor hard working people of Redruth and its businesses, they haven't got a clue, have they?
Don't forget at the Victoria Inn, Four Lanes, on behalf of the Precious Lives appeal, over 100 brand new items. I want to raise £1,000 so please try and come along or help in any way you can, God bless.
