Great regret over the loss of Co-op Ponsharden

IT is with great regret that we have just read in your newspaper of the sale of the Co-operative store at Ponsharden.

We, and several of our neighbours, have used Leo's for many years and have always been delighted with the selection of goods and courteous service of all the staff. One of the biggest advantages has been the ease of parking, with no overcrowding, which is not always the case at the bigger stores.

It seems that little account has been given to the folk who have been Co-op members for many years, but in this ever changing world big is always better - or is it? Christine and Charles Robinson, Passage Hill, Mylor Bridge
