Smelly Gylly seaweed should be taken away

When is the Cornwall Council going to remove the large amount of unsightly smelly seaweed from Gylly Beach? It is an eyesore and covers a large part of this sandy beach.

Last Monday, I overheard visitors from the North of England saying it was such a pity, that the beach is in this state, making it unattractive, and that they would not venture on to it!

Incidentally the seaweed has been on the beach long before the hotel fire, so it’s no excuse that access to the beach was affected by the closure of Cliff Road, thus preventing clearance.

This is no way to attract more visitors and tourists to Falmouth’s best beach.

Ironically Gylly Beach has recently been recommended for its “excellent” water quality-what a shame the beach is so uninviting.
