Car owners need to be able to park somewhere

I AM not against a Premier Inn for Falmouth as such. But I am against the sale of car park spaces to a company which will so often need more parking spaces than it can provide.
Maybe there are too many cars in our world, but their owners have to park somewhere, especially if they have business to do in the town.
The present proposal does not make sense.

When will we get a multi-storey at the Quarry? Everyone with any sense knows it is the best place. Use the parking fees to fund the shuttle bus. Stop the traffic through the town with fines. And have a no tolerance approach.
Make it easy for people to use and solve the problem in one!
