Left stranded twice by bus service at Poldhu

I AGREE with Gill Martin’s letter in the Packet dated July 18.

I travel on the Helston-Lizard 37 most days and on two occasions I have been stranded at Poldhu Cove on my return journey. Thanks to Good Samaritans, I have arrived safely back in Gweek. Every journey is a nightmare!

I have written to Cornwall Council on several occasions about First buses, but the service has not improved.

The 10:00 Mullion to Helston was twenty mins late this morn again. The 14:52 Blue Anchor Helston to Lizard never turned up at all and the 15:52 arrived at 16:25. So a whole group of passengers including myself were waiting for over two hours.
