How much longer will road ‘mayhem’ continue

HOW long are we endure the mayhem that is Station Road in Penryn? I thought we were being pretty decent about enduring it until the end of May when, abracadabra, it became the end of July but they're still here and it's getting worse.

This impacts on drivers and non-drivers alike in the area and our elected representatives should be ashamed of permitting it in the first place let alone allowing it to continue. There are now dire rumours about the on-road parking not being reinstated which would be a disgrace and an unfair burden to the community.

This is just the beginning. Student numbers are predicted to more than double, to 5000, in the next four years.
Expect up to 20% of the Falmouth / Penryn population to be students.
Expect the loss of more family homes and more new buildings in the area. If they can't build wide then they will build high. On every piece of land that they can. And to discourage the use of cars there will be little or no consideration for traffic and parking!
