Runner is living in a pipe dream about getting fast

I read with interest in this week's Packet about a runner of Falmouth Road Runners, aged 61, running his second Flora London marathon.
I think he is just living in a world of pipe dreams when he commented in the report that he finds his runs will get faster the older he gets!
I feel he should try telling us 75+ plus road runners that we should be getting faster. What a load of cobblers! Come on Len get into the real running world and tell me how you feel your running will be at our age? That's if you are still running!
