A Redruth teenager has been viciously assaulted and had his skateboard stolen in broad daylight.
On Sunday, May 11 the 18 year-old was skateboarding in Redruth when between 6pm and 8pm an unknown attacker punched him in the face.
The incident occurred near to the bronze dog statue in Fore Street.
The victim was knocked to the ground, badly spraining his arm and grazing his elbows and knees during the attack.
While he was disorientated another man picked up his skateboard and ran off towards the Back Lane West area of Redruth.
The skateboard is described as distinct, with army camouflage patterned grip tape, white wheels with red and yellow flames around the edge and chrome trucks.
The underside is red with a large picture of musician Bob Marley.
