A man was pulled from the water by police in Porthleven early this morning.
Officers responded to a 999 call from a member of the public who reported two men acting suspiciously around the supermarket in Harbour Square at around 1.30pm.
Two police units arrived 12 minutes after the call and two men ran from them.
One of the men jumped into the harbour and started swimming. Ambulance and coastguard were called to the scene, but before they arrived officers had pulled the man onto dry land from the side of the water.
The second man has not been found.

The full regatta programme for the Funchal 500 Tall Ships Regatta has been finalised.
