Truro's shopping centre has become flooded after a deluge of rain.
The main streets of the city are becoming increasingly waterlogged as persistent heavy rain batters the area.
Some shops are reported to have flooded, with part of the roof of electrical store ETS collapsed into the shop.
A small amount of stock may have been effected from the tiles and water falling in to the store. Staff have currently switched off its electricity and are sweeping water out the store.
The store is shut to customers.
The base of the multistorey car park behind Mallet's Home Hardware is currently under a foot of water.
Motorists have been warned to drive carefully through all areas of the city and surrounding area, with Morlaix Avenue described by one person as "almost impassable."
The Probus bypass is also believed to be effected and the road past Truro College is reported to be suffering a large amount of surface water.
