Appeal over Redruth assault that left man hospitalised

Police are calling for information on an assault in Redruth that left a man hospitalised.
Today’s appeal relates to an attack that took place at the top of Fore Street, just outside Berryman’s, on Friday, October 19.
A police spokesman said that between 7.45pm and 8pm the man was the victim of an unprovoked attack carried out by a group of around 15 youths, incorporating both boys and girls.
As a result of the assault the victim suffered a fractured jaw that needed hospital treatment.
Police are looking for any witnesses who may have seen anything connected to this incident.
