Helston’s police officers have prevented a “substantial amount” of cannabis from getting onto the town’s streets.
This was the news for Helston’s town councillors when they met on Thursday and heard a report from WPC Anne Butcher.
The officer said that, following information being received by the police, a rented flat was broken into by police who discovered a number of cannabis plants there. WPC Butcher said the plants were being grown “in an organised and professional manner.”
A man had since been arrested and interviewed by police. WPC Butcher added: “This was a very pleasing outcome.”
