Londoner Jahangir Karim pleaded guilty at Truro Crown Court last week to having sexually groomed children, travelling to Cornwall between January 1 and March 1 this year to meet a 15-year-old girl who lives in a village near Helston.
He also pleaded guilty to three charges alleging sexual activity with her and two further allegations of attempting to incite children under the age of 13 and under-16 to engage in sexual activity with him between January 1 and April 27 this year.
Judge John Neligan remanded Karim, whose home is in Stockwell Road, London, in custody, commenting that he required a probation officer's report focussing on whether he posed a danger to members of the public. He is due to be sentenced at Plymouth Crown Court on November 23.
