The RNLI has applied for planning permission to refurbish its winch house at Church Cove on The Lizard.
Chris Refoy, on behalf of the RNLI, has submitted plans to replace the existing steel purlin and cladding pitched roof with a new slate on cut timber roof, as well as replace the hardwood windows and doors, fascia and rainwater equipment, and build a roof canopy.
It is also proposed to build a new aerial mast secured to a concrete plinth, close to the south east corner of the building.
