Falmouth's Fireworks sparkle on Bonfire Night

Falmouth Packet: Falmouth's Fireworks Night sparkles Falmouth's Fireworks Night sparkles

HUNDREDS of spectators braved one of the coldest nights of year to enjoy a spectacular fireworks display in Falmouth on Monday evening.

The show was organised by the town's community fire station, and was held at Falmouth Cricket Club on Trescobeas Road.

After weeks of cloudy weather, the organisers were blessed with clear skies, although the temperatures plunged as soon as the sun set.

All proceeds raised on the night will be distributed between good causes in the local area.

Well done lads and lassies for putting on a grand display again. Tell me, why are you called a 'community' fire station? What's all that about? What's wrong with 'Falmouth Fire Station'? Sounds much better in my opinion and I'm sure everyone else in Falmouth would agree with me.
