TOM Henderson, the founder of Helston-based disaster relief charity ShelterBox, is set to take the organisation to an employment tribunal.
Mr Henderson was removed from his position as chief executive in July, but has maintained the charity’s actions were unfair.
He has now launched a legal action against the organisation, with the Employment Tribunals Service confirming a hearing is due to take place in Exeter, Devon, next year.
The charity has said the decision to follow a legal route it is a matter for Mr Henderson, but it will defend the claim robustly.
Mr Henderson was not available for comment.
