The former Cornwall Council highways depot in Camborne has been sold at a land and property auction for £106,000.
The Mount Pleasant Road site is currently vacant and includes a 0.3 acre compound plus stores, outbuildings and mains power and utility services. It had a freehold guide price starting at £75,000 and was among 31 to go under the hammer of auctioneers Clive Emson.
The auction took place at the St Mellion International Resort, Saltash, on Thursday, November 1, and included land and property right across the South West.
A spokesperson for the auctioneers told the Packet: “There was a particularly diverse spread of vacant and income-producing residential and commercial opportunities on offer. The success rate was 80 per cent with prices ranging from £500,000 to £6,000.”
