The 11th annual Cornwall Film Festival took place at the Lighthouse Cinema in Newquay last weekend, with a Falmouth graduate walking away with one of the top prizes.
Alice Nightingale, pictured, impressed the festival jury with her short film Love Hate, to win the Made in Kernow Award for the Best Cornish Short Film and a £400 cash prize, sponsored by St Austell Brewery.
She was one of seven award winners announced, alongside audience awards for those films that attracted the most votes from festival attendees.
