A Christmas cabaret will help round off an evening of festivities for visitors to Helston’s first Christmas Fair this December.

On December 14 Father Christmas will be coming to town, parading through Meneage Street and Coinagehall Street in a newly built sleigh between 6.30pm and 7.30pm.

There will also be a variety of street entertainment acts in the centre of town between 5pm and 9pm, as well as a street market and performances from Helston Town Band from 7pm until 8pm.

After enjoying the festivities visitors can continue their evening at the Epworth Hall, where from 8pm there will be a cabaret in association with ACT2.

Sitting back with a hot chocolate and mince pie, the audience will enjoy songs from Les Miserables and the Beatles music Let It Be among others.

Tickets cost £5 and £3 for concessions, and can be bought from Heathercraft or by calling 01326 568936.

The show will raise funds for the hall and the Christmas Lights Association.
