Man airlifted after serious crash near Truro

A 67-year-old man from the Perranporth area was airlifted to Derriford Hospital with serious injuries after a two-car r crash at St Erme, near Truro on Friday.
The collision between red Ford Sierra and a BMW X5 took place at the Rose Cottage Junction at around 4.35pm.
A police spokesman said the 67-year-old driver of the Sierra sustained serious injuries and was taken to hospital where he is said to be in a critical condition.
The BMW was being driven by a 48-year-old man from the Suffolk area. He sustained minor injuries.
