The police are appealing for witnesses after an elderly woman was run over outside Camborne's One Stop Shop and later died.
The woman, in her sixties, was found trapped under the front wheels of a red Vauxhall Astra at the entrance to the council office's car park, on Dolcoath Avenue, at around 5pm on December 20.
She was taken to the Royal Cornwall Hospital at Treliske with multiple critical injuries, which she succumbed to two days later.
At the last update, formal identification of the woman had not yet taken place.
The police are keen to hear from anyone who witnessed the collision as they are carrying out an investigation into the death.
Anyone with any information is urged to contact the police on the non-emergency number 101 quoting reference #497 of December 20.
