Christmas came early at St Francis Primary School this month when pupils enjoyed a two-hour long festive fair.
The event, on Friday, featured everything from a Santa’s Grotto to a Christmas-themed raffle with each and every classroom throwing open its doors to parents and guests.
All the rooms had a different attraction with chocolate fountains, clothes sales, cake stalls and fairground-style games all adding to the excitement.
Elsewhere, an extra special tombola had prizes donated by each class with reception pupils bringing in the tinned goods, year one with the soft toys, year two with chocolates, year three biscuits and sweets, year four toiletries and years five and six with the bottled items, like drinks, jams, chutneys and sauces.
The kitchen was also open on the daywith hot food and refreshments on offer and lots of children enjoying a winter warmer of sausages and chips.
