Flushing Ferry out of action for repairs

The Flushing Ferry is currently undergoing repairs and maintenance but, according to a notice on the company’s website, it is hoped that normal service will be resumed in the “near future.”

The St Mawes Ferry had been providing cover for the Flushing Ferry while it is being repaired. It is providing the Flushing School service at 8.30am from Prince of Wales Pier to Flushing Quay.

The Flushing Ferry was established by Royal Charter in the days when Flushing was one of the leading players in local shipping.
