Sport for schoolkids at half term in Helston

Helston Sports Centre will be pulling out all the stops to offer a range of fun activities to encourage everyone to get active this half term.
From is already looking ahead to the February half-term break.
Between February 20 and 27, all the family can enjoy a swim for £1 per person during selected sessions and there are a number of other activities and courses.
Children aged from eight to 16 will be able to learn the fundamentals of kayaking through a range of fun filled games and a multi-sport session will cover a range of different activities suitable for children aged between five and 12 years, whatever their sporting ability.
For children who want to improve their swimming techniques the centre is hosting a breaststroke course for those who have reached stage five or above in swim school stages.
There will be more fun in the pool with a new fun session, which will offer a range of ride-on inflatables for children to enjoy alongside stepping stones and giant floats.
Alternatively, youngsters can try aqua multi-sport for eight to 16-year-olds, which includes kayaking, diving and a fun raft race.
For those who want to try skateboarding, Revolve Skate Park will be hosting fun sessions and there will be a chance to try junior tennis, mini tennis or badminton.
